Low water pressure · diagnosed first

Privacy

The town figures here are public Census estimates, not records about anybody. What a call records, who receives it, and how to have it deleted.

Free to homeowners in Privacy — the contractor pays us for the introduction, you never do.

The short answer

Every figure on a town page here came from a published table about a place, not from a person, and none of it describes a household. A call records a ZIP code, what the pressure is doing and the number it came from, and no form exists anywhere on the site.

PressureTrace publishes a page for every town it routes in, and each one states four figures about that place. The first thing this page has to make clear is that none of those figures came from a person.

What this site is

PressureTrace is a referral service, not a plumbing contractor. We connect homeowners with independent contractors. Contractors are required to hold whatever credential their state or municipality demands. Every state page sets out who licenses plumbers there and where to check, so you can confirm before work begins. We do not perform plumbing work, we do not set prices, and we never charge homeowners anything — the contractors in our network pay us when we route them a call.

The town figures are public statistics, not our records

A town page here may tell you how many occupied homes a place has, when the median home in it was built, what share of households own rather than rent, and the median household income. Every one of those is an American Community Survey estimate that the Census Bureau published for a whole postal area, and every one of them was public before this site existed.

We hold no records about any individual household anywhere. Not ownership, not income, not the age of the building. An estimate for a ZIP code of several thousand homes says nothing about any one of them, which is exactly why it is safe to publish and exactly why it cannot tell you anything about your neighbor.

What a telephone call to us actually does

When you call, we ask for a ZIP code and what the pressure is doing, and the call is connected to a contractor who covers that ZIP. The routing platform in between holds the number you dialed from, when the call began, how long it ran, and the area it came from.

We do not ask your name and there is no form on this website to type one into. The ZIP code we ask for is a routing instruction, not an address.

Where it goes

To the contractor who takes the call, because they cannot help with a pressure complaint they have not heard. That is the end of the distribution list.

We do not sell personal information, we do not add callers to marketing lists, and a call about low pressure in March does not become a sales call about something else in September.

Reading the site without calling

These pages are static files. They set no cookies of ours, carry no advertising trackers and load no third-party scripts. Looking up your own town here is not recorded, not counted against you and not shared.

Having a call record deleted

Call (866) 838-2750 and tell us the number you called from. We will remove the record. We have to ask for the number because it is the only thing the record is stored against — the consequence of never having asked for your name.

Still not sure whether it is the whole house or one fixture? That distinction decides who you need and what it costs, and it takes one conversation. We route you to a contractor who covers your ZIP code, you are never charged, and if the answer turns out to be an aerator we will say so. And it need not be pressure — this number takes any plumbing problem.
